More Help for Parents

As a new parent, you’ve got a lot on your mind. See all the ways Citi supports your parenthood journey:

  • Find affordable child care or household help through Bright Horizons.
  • Arrange back-up child care, either in a Bright Horizons center or in your home.
  • Receive an additional 20 days of back-up care when you return to work after a little one joins the family (available within the first 12 months after birth or adoption). You can even use these days to try out a new center or as you consider your full-time child care options. These extra 20 days can be used at any center or with any in-home provider in the back-up care network (not available at Citi full-service centers).
  • Take advantage of the Dependent Day Care Spending Account (DCSA), which can be used to pay for certain dependent day care expenses so that you (and your spouse, if applicable) can work or look for work. You may enroll in the DCSA during Annual Enrollment. You may enroll in the DCSA during Annual Enrollment or within 31 days of adding a new child to your family, which would be a qualified change in status.
  • Access free, confidential counseling through the Be Well Program.
  • Add your new child to your benefits coverage and make any other applicable benefit changes within 31 days of birth or adoption or placement in your home.
  • Access 10 days of transition care for your new child’s sibling(s) at a Citi back-up center if you take advantage of Bright Horizons’ return-to-work care, as described above.
